Recovery and Reorganisation Manager(Automotive Financial Advisory Services)
Major UK firm (Qualified accountancy (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent)
German speaking and liaison with German companies
Responsibilities
Assistance in helping develop the marketing plan and business development activities which may include an element of industry research and analysis
Strategic reviews, long & medium term implications of an entity's chosen strategy, for example whether to adopt a turnaround or managed exit strategy)
Solvency reviews focusing more on the short-term viability assessment, providing on their future sourcing options (in light of their dependence on the supply source) and may involve contingency planning in the event that a failure of the business is inevitable.
Analyse historic trading performance, understand the key drivers of business performance and operations and make recommendations as to how the key business drivers can be improved
Understand the impact of current and projected trading and cash flow on the position and security of key financial stakeholders
Prepare detailed assessment of management and their capabilities
Preparing detailed reports and presentations (include analysis and recommendations) together with presenting your findings to the Stakeholders.
Financial modelling, implementing liquidity improvement strategies or the refinancing/accelerated M&A of entities suffering financial distress.
Managing teams on specific assignments and you will have responsibilities for the ongoing development of staff on the team.
Budgeting, credit control
Experience
Fluent German, with extensive experience directly working and communicating with German companies.
Performance improvement, business re-structuring and turnaround experience.
Experience of dealing with underperforming companies and their stakeholders.
Experience of analysing financial statements.
Computer literate, especially spreadsheets, databases and word processing.
Knowledge of current accounting standards.
Post qualification practice experience.
Team leadership and management experience.
Automotive experience/supply chain experience.
