Our client is a long established Swiss based family office.  The office is an active investor across a wide range of asset classes, including equities, real estate, hedge funds and private equity.

Job Summary  

• General Accounting (book keeping)
• Reconciling bank accounts and investment holdings to Custodian records
• Reconciling equity and private equity positions
• Liaison with client (internal and external)
• Reporting monthly and weekly
• Ensure electronic filing up to date
• Ad hoc analysis of data
• Assisting the COO and Finance Director as and when needed 

Skills and Experience

• Understanding of the importance of discretion and confidentiality

• Accounting qualification or equivalent
• 2+ years' experience in an accountant position, ideally within a family office environment or trust company, or investment management however this is not essential
• Part of a small team, you will need to be an effective team player and be able to work on your own initiative.
• Given the nature of the office the candidate needs to be highly flexible and adaptable to any number of different tasks, an ability to multitask and deliver on numerous projects in tandem is a must.
• Attention to detail
• Excellent Excel and general IT knowledge
• Must be fluent in English, additional fluency in French, Italian or German will be advantageous.
