Salary: £24,000 basic plus VERY HEALTHY commission structure (OTE £69k)

The COMPANY
Our client is the leading provider of software that assists developers of Lotus Notes / Domino. They have a complete suite of ‘off the shelf’ programs or full bespoke solutions for clients looking for the tailored service.
The ROLE
The successful candidate will be required to:
· Follow up leads from various marketing and lead qualification activities
· Generate own leads from cold calling, and efficient follow up of contacts
· Apply a proven selling methodology throughout the whole sales process
· Use telephone and where the company agrees appropriate, on-site sales methods in progressing and closing deals
· Liaise effectively with technical directors to utilise their skills on any conversation where they can add value
· Ensure excellence and integrity in the sales process
· Maintain sales forecast to prescribed standards
· Achieve acceptable activity level based on number of calls, call duration and live web-based product demonstrations
· Increase revenue by identifying opportunities through referrals and deep mining existing accounts
· Establish strong relationships with colleagues in all regions to maximize global sales from our customer base
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for strong applicants who have a history of consistent sales achievements, and the following:
· Personal qualities must include drive, ambition, passion, responsibility, focus, determination ,curiosity, flexibility and honesty
· Comfortable applying a consultative sales process; focus on understanding the problem first, then decide if there may be a fit, then suggesting a range of solutions, then closing the deal
· Equally skilled at closing sales by telephone/on line demo and on customer sites
· Comfortable and confident with cold calling new accounts as well as existing customers
· Comfortable discussing business issues at all levels
· Comfortable working knowledge of the software and how the software can be applied to solve business issues
· Strong communication skills - written and oral
· A team member that other team members respect and aspire to emulate
