Salary: £30-35K plus benefits

• Business Support: To provide support to China Desk and expand China Desk initiative; liaise with all relevant UK national colleagues.
• Business Development: To provide professional advice and service to China Desk clients in support of instructions managed by Associate Directors and Directors. Contribute to team fee, billing and profit targets through support and behind the scenes activity.
GENERAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Familiarisation with relevant service lines and seeks to develop/expand internal network(s)
• Collection, collation and production of client specific product materials and China Desk collateral
• Research, analyse and report on market, industry and/or competitor performance
• Provide assistance to review, propose and document complete solutions for simple to complex business requirements
KEY RESULT AREAS
Clients & Marketing
• Contribute to new business development/new revenue opportunities
• Representation initiative
• Supports existing client work as needed
• Identifies opportunities to cross-sell and follows up with relevant colleagues
• Becomes familiar with relevant service lines and seeks to develop internal networks
• Day-to-day co-ordination of small to medium projects in China Desk
• Provide day to day delivery support for client assignments
Profit & Finance
• Financially aware and understands key measures of target(s) and revenue
• Manages administrative issues and billing as necessary
• Ensures timesheets are current and accurate
Operations
• Identifies key technical issues / problems for clients and offers appropriate solutions / introductions
• Ensure work complies with firm procedures and guidelines (health & safety, quality, risk, professional code of conduct, etc.)
People & Teams
• Proactively seek and undertake formal developmental activities to broaden experience and knowledge
• Undertake and record the requisite amount of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
• Achieve annual objectives set within performance review
